Scott Neff

Scott G. Neff

1972 ~ 2009

Scott G. Neff, age 37, passed away on August 6, 2009.He was born on June 14, 1972, in Provo, Ut to Jean Archuleta and Terry Neff. He married Emily Griffiths on August 29, 1994. They had four beautiful children, McKenzie, Wyatt, Glade and Randall.

Scott found solace in the outdoors, fishing and spending time with his family at the family retreat in Tabiona, Utah. He was deemed the "care taker" and spent many hours fixing and making improvements to the home and grounds. He always made sure everything was running smoothly so others could enjoy their stay. Scott was never idle, always working on some project or another, and often helped with home and yard projects for friends and extended family. We will miss his energetic nature. Scott was a skilled commercial concrete professional and managed projects in Utah, Montana, and Nevada. He worked as a foreman for Ames Construction Company for over 12 years.

He is survived by his wife Emily Griffiths Neff, daughter Mckenzie, and sons Wyatt, Glade and Randall, Saratoga Springs, Utah. Scott is also survived by his mother, Jean Archuleta, Springville, Utah; brother Ryan Neff (Allycia), Springville, Utah; mother-in-law Kathy Griffiths, Orem, Utah; father-in-law, Jim (Shauna) Griffiths; two brothers-in-law, Brad (Martha) Griffiths, Lehi, Utah and Wade (Lisa) Griffiths, American Fork, Utah; and sister-in-law Katie (Mark) Benson, Lehi, Utah. Many nieces and nephews and extended family will truly miss him.

Scott was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
